Tending to your garden can be a very fun and rewarding experience. As a matter of fact, it is even considered to be therapeutic in the sense that it helps beat stress. However, you need to take care of yourself. Being outside tending to your garden for so long may expose you to harmful UV rays. So you can avoid being harmed from this, you need to make sure that you put on some sunblock that is adequate enough to provide you protection. Other than that, you will also have to wear clothing that will cover you up enough. For parts of your body that would be exposed to sunlight, however, use sunblock. It would also be a good idea to use gloves if you have sensitive skin as well. This is so you would not come into direct contact with plants or soil or any other thing that you may have an allergic reaction to. There are also insects that you would have to deal with when tending to your garden. Covering up is always a good way to avoid insect bites. Just remember to be careful and mindful of where you stay and where you put your hands into as well. If you see any anthills or beehives, just steer clear from these if you do not want to get stung. You will also have to keep an eye out for any other insects that may be harmful to your garden like certain beetles that would consume your plants.
