In case the garden furniture has any rust or the paint has peeled then you can sandpaper the particular spot and then use paint to cover it up well.
Generally, regular cleaning of outdoor wooden garden furniture will keep them in good condition for a long time especially if the material that they are made from is strong as well as durable. However, do not clean them too much as well so that they do not lose their original appearance and thus their aesthetic beauty.
